He might look cute but I really distrust these macaques! We have a small troop living in Johor and they have lost all fear of humans, even mock charging and threatening us if we try to shoo them. One even broke into our house twice to steal food. And they have formidable canine teeth. This one was resting near the path on the canopy walk in Penang Hill and was looking after a female. I used my 600mm lens to take the picture as I did not want to get too close.
Il a peut-être l’air mignon mais je n’ai aucune confidence enc es macaques. Nous avons une petite troupe qui vit à Johor et les singes ont perdu toute peur des humains, nous chargeant et nous menaçant si nous avons l’audace d’essayer de les chaser. Et ils ont des canines très impressionantes. Ce mâle se reposait près du sentier sur le pont suspendu à penang Hill et il surveillait une femelle. J’ai utilisé mon 600mm pour prendre la photo car je ne voulais pas m’approcher trop près.
