After a first night in a fantastic lodge just outside Sandakan in Sabah, Northern Borneo, we were getting ready to go to Sepilok, the famous Orang-Utan rehabilitation centre. I was preparing my camera bag when my children alerted me. About 50m from our chalet was a wild gibbon in a tree. I only managed a few pictures before it disappeared. The employees at the lodge had never see one.
Après notre première nuit dans un superbe lodge juste en dehors de Sandakan, Sabah, au Nord de Bornéo, nous nous préparions à aller visiter Sepilok, le célèbre centre de réhabilitation des orang outans. Je préparais mon sac d’appareil photo lorsque mes enfants m’ont alerté. Dans un arbre situé à environ 50m du chalet un gibon était assis sur une branche. J’ai juste eu le temps de prendre quelques photos avant qu’il ne disparaisse. Les employés du lodge n’en avaient jamais vu!
