Elephant Procession

On the way down from Observation Hill in Amboseli National Park, I noticed this family of elephants coming towards the swamp. I jumped in the car and tried to guess where they would cross the road. I stopped the car and remained very quiet. The elephants continued their approach and crossed the road on either side of the car. The most amazing moment was to hear the gravel crunch under their feet. Not to be done with any elephant, but the ones in Amboseli are used to cars. I took the picture as they were drawing nearer to the car.
