I visited Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game reserve in a Nissan Micra. Not the ideal safari vehicle. We stopped a few times in hides. Our favourite was Bhejane. We saw quite a few species coming to drink in the hour or so we spent there.
These nyalas came to drink and as the two females were putting their head down, the little one looked up. I seized my chance and clicked.
I used my 500mm lens balanced on the window ledge of the hide.
