Pipefish at Night

The House Reef on Sibu island is home made and relatively small in size. Despite this, special encounters are always possible. This big pipefish, a relative to the sea horse, was anchored in some pieces of rope, making it very difficult to spot. It was about 20cm long.

Le récif “maison” sur l’île de Sibu est un récif artificiel de petite taille. Malgré cela, des rencontres spéciales sont toujours possible. Ce gros syngnathe, un cousin des hippocampes, était ancré dans des débris de cordage, ce qui rendait son camouflage parfait. Il mesurait environ 20cm.
