Lake Nakuru National Park seems to have a wealthy population of tortoises. There are at least 4 places in the Park where I saw them on a fairly regular basis. This one was amongst the huge herds of buffaloes at the bottom of Lanet Gate. In the same plain, I often saw up to three tortoises. This one just crossed the road in front of my car. They are deceptively fast!
