Gerenuk Under Acacia Tree
I went to Samburu National Reserve with a few species on my list of things to photograph and gerenuks were one of them. Despite the fact that the roads were atrocious (30 minutes to cover just 8 km), I managed to spot a few gerenuks. I like the long neck under the acacia tree on the pictures. The other name for the gerenuk is the gazelle giraffe. They usually live in semi-arid environments.
