Lion Cub
I was in complete awe when we descended down the Ngorongoro crater floor in Tanzania. The scenery was fantastic. As for the wildlife, it was incredible.
In a day drive, we saw 27 different lions. I took this young lion cub as it was resting on the road, in the shade of the safari vehicle parked next to ours. I used my 300mm lens handheld. We had spotted the lions resting in the grass, a few metres from the road. As we were joined by a few other cars, the lions decided to come and take shade under the cars.
