Lac de Kruth

I took this picture just before going for another dive in the lake. I held the camera as close to the water as possible. I love the way the lake is surrounded by mountains. In summer, the surface water temperature is in the mid-twenties. It goes down to 6/7 degrees when you hit the bottom of the lake, 30 metres down. Diving in this lake can be quite rewarding when you know how to look. I have come across big pikes, different types of perch and …. a dolphin at the bottom of the lake! (OK, the dolphin is made of cement, but still, it is a dolphin!)

Nikon D700, Nikon 18-105mm VR lens at 18mm, F16, 1/15s, ISO 100, handheld.
